Virtual Pre-Orientation Steps 1 -4
Step 1: Facility Policies & Procedures
Please review ALL content here in its entirety as it contains the facilities policies and procedures. NOTE: There is a corresponding quiz in Step 2 that accompanies this content as it relates to the Sexual Harassment Policy. Once the facility policies and procedures are reviewed, please move to Step 2.
Step 2: Sexual Harassment Quiz
In this step you will click below to begin an 8-question True or False quiz regarding the Sexual Harassment Policy you reviewed in Step 1. You must pass the quiz with an 80% or higher before you can move on. All scores will be reviewed and reported to the facility. Once completed, please move on to Step 3.
Step 3: Equipment Instructions & Training
You are required to review all instructions and training materials for the equipment you will be using while on assignment. This includes familiarizing yourself with proper use, safety protocols, and troubleshooting procedures for each device or system you will be expected to operate Please do not skip sections, even if you have prior experience with similar equipment — protocols, settings, and workflows can vary by facility and unit. If anything is unclear or a piece of equipment is not covered in the materials provided, you will have the opportunity to ask questions during your in-person orientation.
Step 4: Video Instructions on Equipment
As part of your equipment review for this assignment, you are required to watch the Hamilton-T1 Ventilator video training playlist. This playlist contains 3 videos with a total runtime of approximately 25 minutes. Please watch each video in its entirety before proceeding. Do not skip ahead or fast-forward through any segment, as the content covers operating procedures and safety information you'll need for this assignment.
