Reinstatements – Approx 2 or more weeks upon receipt of all required documentation. 24 contact hours of CEU required with original verification form signed/stamped by program sponsor -Must contact the DC Board of Nursing to request a reinstatement application. The application is sent back to the BON accompanied with a letter of explanation as to why the license has lapsed, proof of CEUs and verification of a current license. -Background check required
