The Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) allows any registered nurse (RN) and licensed practical/vocational nurse (LPN/VN) who resides in one of the participating compact states to have a multistate license, with the ability to practice in their home state and other eNLC states. In order to work in a compact state, a nurse must have proof of residence in a compact state as well as a current, active RN, LPN or VN license in the compact state which they wish to practice.
